How do online lessons work?
Lessons are live video calls. We work on a shared online whiteboard, use the interactive simulations on this site to see the physics move, and solve problems together. After each lesson you get a short notes summary and a few practice problems.
What does the €10 trial include?
The trial is a 30-minute lesson. We talk about where you are and where you want to get to, set clear goals, and then I teach a short segment so you can see how I explain things. There is one trial per student.
Which levels do you teach?
Four levels: Foundations (beginners, younger students and enthusiasts), Intermediate (school physics students), Advanced (strong school students and first-year university), and Olympiad & university (olympiad candidates and astrophysics courses, including Python for astronomy).
Do you prepare students for astronomy olympiads?
Yes. Olympiad preparation covers the celestial sphere and coordinates, timekeeping, Kepler and Newtonian orbits, magnitudes and photometry, telescopes and optics, stellar physics, spectroscopy, and the data-analysis and observational rounds.
Can you help with my university course or Python?
Yes. I help with introductory astrophysics problem sets — radiative processes, stellar structure, exoplanet detection — and with Python for astronomy: loading and plotting real light curves and spectra with NumPy, Matplotlib and Astropy.
How do I pay?
You pay online when you book, by card or by another method Stripe offers at checkout. Prices are in euros.
What if I need to cancel?
You can reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before the lesson starts. Cancellations later than that, and missed lessons, are charged in full. If I have to cancel, you can reschedule or get a full refund.
Do packs expire?
Yes. The 5-lesson pack is valid for 3 months and the 10-lesson pack for 5 months from purchase.
Do you teach students under 18?
Yes. Students under 18 need a parent or guardian to book and agree to the terms. A parent is welcome to attend the lesson.
Will you do my homework or exam?
No. I teach concepts, methods and problem-solving. I don't complete graded assignments, exams or theses on anyone's behalf.
What languages do you teach in?
Lessons are in English. Polish is available on request.
What do I need for a lesson?
A computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, and a notebook. A webcam and microphone help, and a stylus is handy for the whiteboard but not required.
Start with a trial lesson
A 30-minute trial costs €10. We set goals and you see how I teach. After that, lessons are €30 for 60 minutes, or less with a pack.
